The original building of this farmhouse dates back to 1800. Inside there is an old cellar completely excavated in the tuff rocksand this renders it very cool and it was used in the past to keep the wine. If you like to take a walk, you can reach San Giminiano by walking a 800 mt path or, if you prefer, by riding with a mountain bike we give free to our guests.

Colombaio di Santa Chiara is situated in a strategic point to reach other interesting cities in Tuscany, i.e.: Florence ( 45 km), Siena (25 km) , Volterra (25 km), Pisa (60 km), Lucca (70 km), Certaldo, Montalcino, Pienza or the Etrurian Riviera (60 km). If you drive through the ancient Francigena Way you can reach after 2 km the Pieve di San Donato which is a romanic church dated XII Century and now property of Family Logi.
